 July 1970 - U.S. Air Force UH-1P Huey helicopters from the 20th Special Operations Squadron Green Hornets on alert at Ban Don, South Vietnam, in July 1970. From locations along the borders with Cambodia and Laos, the U.S. Air Force helicopters covertly inserted reconnaissance teams, which included local peoples like the Hmong, along the Ho Chi Minh Trail.
