New military history research – German coastal defense in WWII, British Navy in WWII, the Bangladesh War and Soviet and Nazi crimes in WWII Lithuania


Analysis of German coastal defense during the Normandy invasion of WWII.  The author argues that Germany had the capacity to either develop a stronger Navy or better coastal defenses to counter the invasion but made poor strategic decisions in the period before the war.  By G.H. Bennett
